Happy Friending means Happy Ending
But not THAT kind of “happy ending”.
This is about the importance of community when you’re deciding what’s next.
The challenge is that when you don’t know the end goal it’s hard to decide what to start with.
This is the messy middle.
The space between one way of working (and being) and another.
In this space, where it’s not clear which way is forward, being with likeminded others is key.
When you’re with people who understand this journey they:
- make you feel less alone
- help you see what you can’t
- keep you going when you feel lost
There are gurus and influencers who can tell you what to do.
But that only makes sense if where they’re pointing is where you want to go.
Not where you think you “should” go.
Understanding what you really want takes introspection.
But it also takes action.
And action takes courage.
And courage comes from community.
If you’re wanting to create a new direction for your work (and life) don’t do it on your own.
Look for:
- a structure to guide you
- a community to support you
- a space to try
The ends will then appear through the means.
