Why we Should cultivate Happy Connections?
When we feel enough we’re never alone.
When we’re alone we never feel enough.
During my years of building and experiencing community I’ve witnessed the impact and importance of Happy Connections:
- vulnerable
- brave
- creative
When you have happy connections you’re able to show who you really are.
You don’t run away from conflict but embrace difference.
You feel brave to state what you need and have the compassion to hear the needs of others.
You feel open to ideas and build others’ input in a creatively constructive way.
Unfortunately the world is full people experiencing Unhappy Connections:
- fear
- judgement
- loneliness
Fear of failure and fear of rejection keep you silent and unable to ask for support or advice.
Fear of judgement makes us less likely to ask for feedback or be open to collaboration.
This leads to loneliness, even crowded rooms.
The loneliest place to be is when you’re not being heard or seen by those around you and close to you.
Too many of us go through life not feeling able to connect at an authentic level.
Too many of run our businesses scared to show what we don’t know and so struggle in silence.
We make unnecessary mistakes and make our lives unnecessarily effortful.
A world of unhappy connections is a world of scarcity.
A world of happy connections is of enoughness.
How are you cultivating happy connections in your life?
